Vendor Criteria

At , you’re not just listing your stall — you’re joining a movement of makers, bakers, growers, and dreamers who believe in showing up with quality, heart, and craft. We’re building a space where every vendor adds to the story of South African creativity — If that sounds like you, you belong here!

The cost to list as a vendor on Find a Market is R250 per year from the first date of payment received.

To ensure shoppers have the best experience, all vendors listed on must meet the following standards:

Product Quality

  • Products must be well-made, original, and of good quality

  • Items must be salable and suitable for market environments

  • Products must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages

  • Locally produced or locally designed products will take preference

  • Food & beverage vendors must hold a valid Certificate of Acceptability and meet local health standards

Presentation Standards

  • Upload clear, well-lit photos (minimum 1 image, maximum 3 images)

  • Photos must show your actual product or stall — no stock images

  • Your branding, packaging, and setup must look neat and market-ready

  • Listings with blurry or low-quality photos will not be approved (Take pride in your photos and your story — markets that look great online attract more shoppers!)

Market Readiness

  • Vendors who actively sell at physical markets will get preference over online-only stalls

  • Vendors must have a professional stall display or market setup that represents their brand and products well

  • Display tables, signage, and product presentation must be neat, clean, and appealing to shoppers.

Professional Conduct

  • Vendors must communicate professionally and courteously with customers and event organizers

  • No offensive, copied, or misleading content will be allowed

  • Stall spaces and branding should reflect a family-friendly, respectful atmosphere

  • Any inappropriate, offensive, copied, or misleading listings will be removed at the discretion of Find A Market management

  • All listings are reviewed and approved by the Find A Market team

  • Approval is based on product quality, photo standards, and market relevance

  • Listings are accepted at our discretion to maintain a high-quality marketplace
